About the Artist
Red Hot launched in 1990 with the release of Red Hot + Blue. The first benefit album brought the industry’s biggest stars together to address the AIDS epidemic and the stigma the media created around the gay community whose access to healthcare was under attack.
Over 30 years later, Red Hot is the standard-bearer for cultural impact advocacy. All-time contributions from the world’s most celebrated artists include David Bowie, David Byrne, Wu-Tang Clan, Nirvana, Dolly Parton, D’Angelo, Johnny Cash, Madonna, and many more.
